Hey Davy - Saw Nicky today at the PRS 30th Anniversary event. He told me he played with you at the Salisbury Marylnd show. I didnt get there because of the Chesapeake Blues Festival but you know if I knew he was playing with you I might have ditched the blues festival. I almost did anyway to come see you but I was already into the festival for $50. But I have seen the two of you play before and its amazing to watch how you two feed off each other. He told me you guys might do some shows together in the Mid-west. But I really think you and Nicky shoud do a few in the Stevensville/Annapolis area! You'd sell out! Haha! Miss ya man!

I've been spreading the word now for several years. I've converted a number of people. I continue to post at least a video a week on Facebook and make all my friends watch. And I let all my friends around Stevensville, Md know who the best guitarist out there is. Yes Davy that would be you!

Just saw Ritchie Furay last month. Going to see John Sebastian in May. Will see Greg Allman at the Chesapeake Bay Blues Festival in May, but I was really going to see Davy but he had to cancel. Oh well, I am trying to see all the old guys before they die or before I die. Saw Neil Young, missed Johnny Winter and there are a few more I'd like to see.....

So very disappointed you wont be playing the Chesapeake Bay Blue Festival now. You were why I bought the ticket. Had about 20 people coming to see you play.

Got my tickets for the Chesapeake Bay Blues Festival. This better be good Davy! I'm passing up Charlie Musslewhite and Buddy Guy (both of whom I've never seen) to see you on Saturday! ;-) This will be the 5th time I've seen you and thats more than anyone else except local talent. I am anxious to see if you do anything solo like some acoustic slide guitar. That would be fun! See you then!

The two rk's are very interesting and have seen a lot of great bands! In the 70s I managed to see a lot but then I stopped going in the 80's and 90 and even the early 2Ks. Now I am getting old and I feel a rush to see the greats that are left. Johnny Winter played all the time in a place called Rams Head in Annapolis near me and I kept saying I will catch him next time. Now there is no next time. I've seen Davy four times I believe and he let me play both of his guitars which I am thankful for! I've managed to see Nils Lofgren three times, John McLaughlin early in the 70s and then again at Experiance PRS several years ago (lots of great players at PRS), Long John Baldry, Savoy Brown, Kim Simmons solo, Fleetwwood Mac in 70 and again with Nicks, Buckingham and Christine McVie before they had any hits, Spirit twice, once in a little club where they really had a bad time and once opening for Nil Lofgren who they blew away that night. I've also seen Buzzy Linhart who was really good both times, Ten Years After, Martin Mull who was hilarious opening for McLaughlin in the 70s, Bonnie Raitt and John Mayall at the Chesapeake Bay Blues Festival where I will see Davy again this May! And last, I think, is the Foo Fighters who were excellent!

My first concert was 1969 or 70 at the Baltimore Civic Center. Long John Baldry opened, followed by Fleetwood Mac, followed by Savoy Brown. What a show! And amberellie, I was a hippie!

Thanks Davy. I dont have the right hand technique but watching and listening to you was very helpful. I always wanted to finger pick like that! Yes Tony is amazing but we all cant play like that as I am sure he cant play an electric like you can as well. McManus is a master of his craft. The times I saw him at PRS I was just amazed! But watching you brings it down to a level that I can least shoot for! Thanks again!
