Can't remember whether my first ever DK gig was at Bar Logo in Ramsey, or in one of the pubs in Port Erin / Port St. Mary - the Bay, possibly...
Anyway, it was on the glorious Isle of Man when DK was not long out of short pants and making quite a name for himself on the Rock, as we refer to the Island.
Shame Davy had to leave and head off to the states to progress his musical career, but that's just me being selfish. The whole World deserves to hear and see him play, just so long as he's able to keep on touching base every so often. I was only joking when I said it was a shame. Of course he had to go and it was 100% the right move. No Chicago & he wouldn't have met the lovely Amber and the music would be different from the way it is. Keep enjoying the US, Davy and growing and developing as a musician. It's what you were born to do.
My most memorable DK gig? Got to be at the Garden Party (Isle of Man again) when Davy's friend Nicole and the other Discovery astronauts came on stage to present Davy with a patch and other mementoes of their last trip into space. Awesome.

If I recall correctly, there's a piece of homework you still owe me - I think you should drop it in to my current school, so I can mark it for you!
