Or is it the Insiders? Or are we still supposed to be tossing around ideas?

Davy, Have you ever seen a bass player play a bass like Tal? I had an acquaintance of mine tell me about this DVD and when I saw her, I couldn't take my eyes off from her. Just go to the 11:23 mark (that's the song where she has a solo). Her solo starts at 11:48. OMG....she plays the bass like a guitar. Jeff Beck bows down to her! Then he raises his arms to the skies praising her. If I ever see her LIVE it will be the death of me. IN a good way. www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ndyILodYwM

Any genre of music you can find in Anders Osbourne arsenal. His selection of music will cover your any mood and the best thing about his music is his lyrics. He is an amazing singer songwriter. Writes for many in Nashville. His Coming Home CD is soothing smooth listening genius, His American Patchwork is plain fricking fantastic, Black Eyed Galaxy is down right heavy rock and roll metally at times. You can find NOLA jazzy and goes way back to foot stompling hand clapping folksy to Jazz in other CD's. If you have not caught any of his shows, put it on your bucket list!!

JJ is one of the few that come to my area and I've travelled to see him too so I've seen him lots. If by chance you haven't checked JJ out with Southern Soul Assembly, I highly encourage it. Its a group of powerhouses that sit together on stage taking turns singing. Anders Osborne is one of my very favorite bands and he is one of the members of SSA.

I think my favorite DVD, although I love Davy's, is Jeff Becks DVD Ronnie Scotts. I have never in my life seen a bass player play like that! Tal W blows my mind. I also love Joe B's Rockplast because that is the era of music that I liked of his. A edgy sound with great lyrics. And every once in a while I like to toss in Grace Potter and the NOcturnals because I'm in it... A LOT! LOL And Blues and Lasers was memorable because we are the ones that filmed it. But probably these days I toss in Warren Haynes Band the most because I miss them so much. Cant wait until they start touring again which I'm thinking with ABB retirement, that should be shortly.

Was at a Mule show in December 2008 at Vodoo Lounge in KC. Went to the show with my better half and my sister and her better half. The trio from IOM came out and I remember saying "They're babies" to my sister. I'll never forget that night because I've never resonated with an opening bands music like BDS before. When Coming Home finished it was like I knew every word. I said to my sister I love the words to that song (to me it's about the lyrics as much as the music) Do you? And she said I have no idea. I never spoke the rest of the show and later Davy came out and more than held his own with Warren. We travelled around everywhere to catch his shows after that. Still do and always will.
