These are my musical "guilty pleasures": - ABBA - Come on, everybody loves ABBA, but not everybody admits it! - John Mayer - Please don't judge an artist by his audience! OK, there are mostly ladies at his concerts and many of them only love his more gooey songs. But JM is also a fantastic blues musician, and he tries to teach his audience some good music. - Nickelback - Well, not a pleasure. You might find that album that everybody bought in my cd collection. But you will never hear me play it. And if I would be a guitar manufacturer, I would even refuse to sell them my instruments (leave alone give them to them for free).

ABBA is my guilty pleasure too - great songs and really cool recording techniques...

OK I can't go the ABBA way unless it's one of our parties and everyone is over refreshed, but I do like John Mayer and have a ripper DVD of his where he plays an acoustic set first and then the electric (think it was shot in LA).

Guilty pleasures? I don't feel guilty at all if I enjoy any particular style of music or artiste. I've got rather eclectic tastes and will give most things a go, apart from C&W and some experimental Jazz. Today, for example, I've listened to some Classical music this morning - mainly Prokofiev and Ravel, then it was a bit of Davy and Crasdant (Welsh folk music) over lunch. Right now I've got Hot August Night on (Neil Diamond). One thing I will confess, however - I have NEVER listened to anything by the Beiber chap or One Direction or any other manufactured "musicians". Real music, preferably live, is what I,like. Enough said.

I loved Prince even before Purple Rain. Lost track of him when he did the whole "artist formerly known as Prince" bit. Got to see a secret show this past year. It was mindbogglingly wonderful!
