Hello Davey, This is to inform you that I've tryed a couple of times to down load your new cd and trying to get through alll this bullshit to get has me about to punch my computer.That X connection does not have my name or account, but it does have my fucking credit card number. I've set up this and it messed up. You need to get this straghtened out ASAP!!!!@ Thank you so very much Dale

Anyone else out there run into this problem and if so, how was it resolved? I didn't have this problem, but I did have a problem after placing an order with Theconnextion, that I thought warranted some looking in to. They are located in (or bill out of) Washington state. I have not had a credit card compromised in 10+ years as I am overly cautious when giving out the information. I had never heard of Theconnextion, but assumed Davy had checked them out when he hired them to run his online store. Within a few days of placing the order, my credit card started getting hammered with $60 and $75 charges to a generic Microsoft store (virtual storefront). This was the only company I had done business with in months using that card that was not a usual charge, and to make connecting the dots even easier, this bogus Microsoft store is also located in Washington state. Davy I would do a little research into this as their business practices obviously reflect back on you, and to the rest of you... be wary when ordering from Theconnextion until we hear back on this. PS: They're also currently out of stock on the autographed Outsider CD's... I bought the last one. |

As a quick follow-up: The Connextion got back with me today and said they've turned my email and details over to their IT department to figure out what happened. I was pleased to see them take it seriously and get right on it.

I also went through The Connextion. I purchased Davy's CD, and my card was also compromised. I didn't think much of it, except for the minor inconvenience that was well worth the CD, no harm done to my account,
but then I later ordered a shirt, and my card was once again compromised. I also don't do a lot of online shopping. Maybe I should have said something in this forum, but I didn't, because My account was okay. Now, I need another means of purchasing some of Davy's merchandise that I would like to have, because I won't use The Connextion. When I saw Davy recently live, I was bummed that the merch table only took cash. I was prepared to buy two of everything! LOL!

I will let The Connextion know that we've all but confirmed they have a problem. I'd recommend supporting Davey through Amazon, iTunes, etc.. until they get this figured out. |

No problem. Glad someone brought it to their attention. My purchases through the Connextion were around the same time that Davy lost his father, so mentioning it at the time seemed like small potatoes, and the very least of his worries, so I just left it alone. I received my purchases, and my account was fine.

I didn`t have any problems with my credit card either time I bought Davy items from the vendor.
However, I did find their prices higher for shipping than most vendors, and I buy from lots of them.
Add those two factors(identity theft and high service fees) together and, unless Davy`s locked into a contract with them, I`d be looking for a new business to promote my items and sell them.
Davy has gained his independence, musically, but it will take time for him to get all the right people and businesses on board to promote his music properly and it being commercially good for him and his fans. I don`t envy him at this stage, trying to get his future properly formatted.
My son went to Penn State University......and 3 times that we attended award ceremonies where he was honored as an outstanding student, we had our credit cards "read" by other brainiacs and their families and had to get new cards and bad debts removed in the following weeks. One year it was 3 cards read....mine, my father`s and my son`s. It can happen in all kinds of ways.
If neither of you 2 use your cards much, it made you a better target, as you may not notice for a while.
My credit card people call me when this sort of thing happens and wipe my bad debts clean.
I hope you have your cards with good companies too.

I just saw this...funnily enough my wife bought the poster set through Davy's website as a Christmas present...little did we know this was a gift that kept on giving...her credit card was scammed a few weeks later....my wife never shops online this being her first and probably last

I just saw this...funnily enough my wife bought the poster set through Davy's website as a Christmas present...little did we know this was a gift that kept on giving...her credit card was scammed a few weeks later....my wife never shops online this being her first and probably last I had a chance to talk to Davy a couple times on Joe B's blues cruise in February and I regret not bringing this topic up with him. It probably wasn't the time or place, but I won't order anything else through The Connextion because of this. I love supporting my favorite artists by buying both the iTunes version of their albums as well as a physical CD to share with friends. I'll have to wait until Davy comes through town next time to buy his upcoming CD. Hopefully he reads this and switches companies... there's too many good ones out there to stay with a shady outfit like this one. Mike |

Davy: I'm dying to get your new album but after the ordeal I went through with TheConnexion on your last album, I was skeptical about "Pledgemusic". I did a little online research, and the results have me holding back. Many people gave them money and never saw their products. Please release your album on iTunes so we can get it there. I'll buy a CD from you in person next time you hit Denver.
PS: I decided to post this here in the hopes Davy and the more serious fans would see it, but I didn't want to negatively effect his album sales by posting it on social media.
