I have that on CD.
I like Albert`s music.......
But he would have been a tough guy to work and play for.
Rory Gallagher played on one of his albums...Albert/Live/1977....I have that too
The Blues guitarists respected Albert even though he was tough.......
It`s a double vinyl release and if you buy it on CD you don`t get all the songs......
chuck up another one for vinyl !

Yes, we have the Box set (CD + DVD). REally good stuff, and interesting, too. The young gun meeting his hero. Watching the DVD, I had the inpression that Albert King had some problems finding out what key SRV's songs are in. But who cares...

I`m happy to hear some happiness comin` from Steve Earle again. We felt sorry for him while he was married to Allison Moore. He seemed so uneasy around her before and after shows. I just ordered his new release, and my son pointed me towards this video today. He even mentions seeing Rory Gallagher live. Looking forward to seeing Steve live gain........without the ol` ball and chain. She was sooo upset that we talked to the other woman in the band instead of her after our last time seeing him/them live. I think she married him for his musical contacts...........Steve`s another terrifically talented troubled soul. scroll down a little to see Steve doin` a solo promo thing : www.relix.com/media/video/steve_earle_the_relix_sessionLast time we saw Steve, I got him to sign his Guitar Town Vinyl for me Steve and Kelly Looney to sign his Jerusalem CD(Kelly`s been on the ride for years, and very much appretiated us recognising him and talking with him about his old bass that he got from his father) and Steve and Allison to sign their new Vinyl(Steve up the left hand border and Allison in lower right area):

I found this last week and shared it. The band saw it, loved it, and played it at the Bluesdoggle party. We all relaxed and had fun.

BAD CO.
After being heavily into FREE and Mott The Hoople, I was thrilled when Bad Co. was formed and still enjoy their music. Here`s two videos of them. One is them playing Don Kirshner`s Roch Show and the other is their story.

ROBIN TROWER>>>>>>>> Great talent, gentle soul, and very friendly man ! Still tearin` it up, even lookin` like an old man. Like alot of the older musicians we talk to, he loved meeting my wife ! And she loved meeting him too. She considers him the sweetest soul she`s ever met in a musician.

I can remember being at my grandparents house and the smells and how everybody looked.......... at least I can while the music is playing.

Got my newest Gov`t Mule release in the mail this week>>>>>>> Gov`t Mule/Stoned Side Of The Mule Vol. 1 & 2/2 LPS/2015 Mule released Vol. 1 for Record Store Day last year and I missed it. This year they released Vol. 2 for record store day and in Europe they released the double vinyl with Vol. 1 & 2.......which is what I bought. I am very much enjoying it. Well it is by my favorite current touring band, and by the band that I`ve seen the most in my nearly 59 years of drawing air. Here`s a couple youtubes up from the release: Just ordered Dub Side Of The Mule with Toots Hibbert, which is a 3CD-DVD release.
