Hi to everyone. I first heard Davy and Back Door Slam doing Tear Down The Walls on the Bob And Tom radio show as I was driving into work. Was totally blown away by the tone and passion that came through the speakers. Two days later in the store I heard this fantastic playing and knew who it was immediately. I looked over and when he finished playing I asked, Davy? I received a puzzled "how do you know who I am look" and a yes response. I told Davy that I had heard him on the radio and couldn't make the previous night's show as I was working. He noticed a PRS McCarty on the wall and asked if it was a rosewood neck and could he try it since he had not yet played one. From that meeting a great friendship has followed.
After Davy left, a customer walked up and asked it that was indeed Davy who was playing. He also knew who it was by just hearing the Bob And Tom broadcast.
Thanks Davy!

Hey Ron! Great to hear from you, and welcome to the forum!
All I remember from the Bob and Tom show was it was WAY too bloody early in the morning!
Hope all is well,
D

Hi Davy, we are on vacation this week and we are enjoying the great weather. We take this week off every September for the Experience. It should be epic next year for the 30th anniversary of PRS. We hope to see you soon.

Even cooler is Davy. One of the friendliest, humble and sharing people that I have ever met. There are plenty of "celebrities" and "musicians" that could learn some propper lessons from Davy on how to treat people.
