Hello Davy,
Sorry to hear about the problem`s you`re having with your readmittance to the States and the postponement of the Pittsburgh and New York City Shows. Was hopin` to catch you at, and check out for the first time, Jergels.........
I`m having the same problems with medical insurance here. My wife started a new job for the State of Pennsylvania on Nov. 7th. I`ve been sick as a dog for weeks but can`t get any help because even though her employer says we have insurance, my card won`t support that theory when swiped for coverage. They say it`s being processed, but that doesn`t help me any.
So I`ve "got insurance" but my pocketbook`s been paying for EVERYTHING, and there will be no reimbursement when the paperwork clears........oh yes, and we`re being charged for the insurance that we can`t use also, as we split the cost with her employer.
Misery Loves Company...............
Hope to catch you on the flip-flop(reschedule) !
Rick

Got to see Davy and Co. last night at Jergyls just north of Pittsburgh Pa. They played about 2 hour and 10 minutes for a 10 dollar advanced ticket, $13 at the door. Wearing a blue flannel shirt, and armed with his Tele, he took the stage and played songs from all stages of his career. He even played a newer written song called Drunk Mind, Sober Heart which the crowd loved. He did a few songs solo acoustic including As A Crow Flies. Even though he was basically finished with the show he still played Cortez The Killer as was being called for by the crowd. A quick dash from stage to dressing room then Davy was front and center at the merch counter selling his legacy, and people were really buying too ! I gave Davy a CD sent to me by Dino McGartland(look him up) that Dino asked me to give Davy. Dino is a big name in Rory Gallagher land. I bought 2 of Davy`s Three Miles From Avalon and had Davy sign them to Dino and one to my UK friend Phil who I swap a lot with. I just had a brief chat with Davy as he had his hands full with fans and purchasers. I think he had a GREAT NIGHT last night. He was sold out of Vinyl. I already had a vinyl, CD and T-shirt from pre-order. I wore my Rory shirt(like the one I gave Davy) last night under my flannel shirt. By chance I sat between a couple on my left and a man on my right who first saw Davy open for Gov`t Mule in 2008 as I did. I had taken 3 CDs with the entire Back Door Slam/ Gov`t Mule show from 2008 with me and gave them to the guy on my right who was thrilled to get a copy of the show. Drunk Mind, Sober Heart..........as taped by Natasha at Rams Head about a week ago:

Davy`s playing and singing just keep getting stronger ! The people last night were really happy to see him, not just people at the same place at the same time without much knowledge of who it was they came to see, like at so many shows. They really enjoyed it and were quiet and respectful. Here`s pictures of the band individually:
