I first heard of Davy through Peter Frampton in 2009 when he co-produced 'Coming Up For Air'. Being introduced to new great musicians is just one of many reasons why I am a big Frampton supporter, and have been for most of my life, and I thank him for putting Davy on my radar, because Davy is amazing, and now has a supporter in me! Great picture of you and Peter !
Also great picture of Peter and Davy too !
They seem to put even bigger smiles on each other`s faces than they usually have.
I`ve been enjoying Peters music since I first started listening to Humble Pie in the early `70s.
Humble Pie is still one of my favorite bands of all time.
4 excellent musicians with 3 good vocalists.

Thank you so much! Great picture of you and Davy! Being the Frampton fan that I am, I am often asked what my favorite Frampton era is, and without hesitation, I say Humble Pie! The best band in the land! Rock and roll was never so pure! I play a bit of bass, so Greg Ridley is a huge inspiration for me. Davy really reeled me in, It's so great to see someone so young be inspired by so many greats and stick to the roots of good ol' rockin' blues! There is hope for Gen Y after all. LOL! Nice to make your virtual acquaintance.

Talked to my brother this morning and learned: While he was outta town a couple weeks ago they had a birthday party for Peter outside of Pucketts, two blocks from my brother`s house in Liepers Fork Tn. I guess Eric Clapton was there too. Pete`s been around Nashville alot lately. I don`t know if he has a place there or is recording or what ? Brad Whitford and Derek St. Holmes are practicing at Pucketts. Their new album may produce a tour. I see that Brad`s son plays there on Saturday. Lots of things happen at Pucketts: www.puckettsofleipersfork.com/events/events.phpMy brother even looks a bit like Peter too............ Attachments:

Peter now resides in Nashville. He got a divorce, and sold his home in Cincinnati.

Thanks for the info Jamie. Maybe Peter will join Audley Freed and the Sons Of Zevon again this month as they move into their new set list for 1972. He joined them last time for a song........can`t remember which right now........it was a Humble Pie #, which I posted about here after it happened......just found my post: davyknowles.freeforums.net/thread/153/peter-frampton-stopped-songAnybody in the Nashville Area: check out May 16th at 3rd and Lindsley(where I went to see a Double Trouble Reunion a couple/3 years back: www.3rdandlindsley.com/calendar.htmlI feel for Davy, who`s trying to go out and do shows now, after losing his Father............ I hope the people(his fans...new and old) help him through it. Rick

You are welcome. I am looking forward to seeing Peter next month. I lost my father 3 years ago, and I am learning to adapt, but not accept. I think Davy is doing the right thing by sticking to his tour plan. Nothing in this world is more healing to the soul than music, it helps us all through.
