I just thought I`d start a topic for any of us to put up a youtube of a song or video worth sharing.
My first>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Here`s Warren Haynes doing a song that he, and a friend, wrote for Gregg Allman`s album about 25 years ago. It`s called: Before The Bullets Fly
and here`s the version that Gregg recorded with Dan Toler on guitar:

This one blows me away every time I watch it. Just rolled out of bed? Check. Big coat on? Check. Smoking fingers? Check. Tone for days? Double check...

Nice one Twinfan.........I had never seen that one before.
Here`s the first youtube up from last night`s Warren Haynes Christmas Jam>>>>>>
With Warren Haynes, Danny Louis, Paul Riddle, Oteil Burbridge and Jack Pearson:
Wish I could have been there to witness Warren and Jack Pearson mix it up on this one and others they might have done. I have enjoyed seeing Jack when in Nashville. He doesn`t stray far from there these days. Jack used to be an Allman Brother for a short stint. I`ve seen him guest with ABB in Nashville and last saw him play the Double Trouble reunion there a couple years ago with Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Buddy Cox, and more with the 3 double trouble members: Chris Layton, Reese Wynans and Tommy Shannon. I knew that Paul Riddle (Marshall Tucker Band drummer) was to be there at this year`s jam. This is a MTB song.

Very Impressive.
So Were Willie`s introductions.............
Gotta admit that I know very little about Matt, beyond him being in the Blues brothers movies as one of the guitar players and Aretha`s husband. I still love being educated about music.......thanks.

Nothing stays the same............. BUT a few years ago.....Grace Potter & The Nocturnals were one of the hottest bands touring.......... musically and sexually. Grace and Katherine were fun to watch and listen to, along with the rest of the band Unfortunately Grace caught the fame bug, a bit, and Katherine left the band, and the music just isn`t quite as energetic or inspiring anymore. Hopefully she`ll learn from her mistake and put the music first(again) one day. She wasn`t meant to team up with country artists and colaborate. She was meant to front a band and be flamboyant ! Like Here: The first time we saw Grace Potter & The Nocturnals>>>>>> The opening band was made up of most of her band, called>>>>> Blues and Lasers:

I can`t go a week without listening to something with Steve Marriott............
Here`s Steve, Peter, Greg, and Jerry doin` what still drives me wild, even after all these years !
I`ll always miss the little man with the GIANT voice>>>>>>>>>>>>
Here`s Peter Frampton giving words about their last collaboration just before Steve`s tragic death...........
AND one of the last songs they wrote and recorded together:
You know that somewhere........Stevie`s still tearin` it up and pumpin` it out !
I don`t know if any band will ever have the impact on me that Humble Pie did with the Steve, Peter, Greg and Jerry lineup. It took me YEARS to forgive Frampton for breaking up the best lineup EVER for a 4 piece group !
Humble Pie was my Beatles........................

This is a video worth HEARing as there is nothing much to watch..........
Just a few iconic shots of Lou>>>>>>>>>
Another song by another great frontman that changed my life................
Oh Lord, My Life Was Saved By Rock `N` Roll:
I can still hear this comin` outta my bedside radio at 3 AM when I was like 17 years old.............
takin` me to places I`d never been before.
A couple years later I got in a terrible car accident while listening to this on the headphones while FLYING down the highway.

Best thing I`ve seen on TV in weeks, and the song reminds me of being a child in the `50s and `60s.
Roger Miller did some cool songs back in the day:
Check out his "King Of The Road" sometime.
He wouldabeen a fun guy to hang out with>>>>>>>>
A half century ago you might have found Roger singin` this on a couple dozen TV shows........ AND if you had music worth hearing, You`d be getting to know Dick to help you get known
Man how the world has changed................................................................

Here`s a guy........Joe Louis Walker......... I first saw/heard Joe in N.Y.C. at the Iridium doin` the Rory thing with Davy and others. Joe keeps changing his looks and dress, but his music keeps a flowin`. Some I really like and some doesn`t move me much......but this one keeps me smilin`. It has a great flow to it and his vocals on it remind me of Ozzy. I was a HUGE Sabbath fan in the early `70s. Never liked `em much after they booted the main man though. We won tickets to OZZFEST the year that Ozzy got back with Black Sabbath and Rob Halford got back with Judas Priest. Nothing can compare with watching Black Sabbath Live during a thunder and lightning storm after dark ! When you hear this......don`t you think of Ozzy ? and the intro reminds me of `70s Pete Townsend guitars.......... Attachments:

Here`s a couple for you of Joe Bonamassa and Warren Haynes mixin` it up.
This first one is from a friend Kenny in Germany who put this up on the Rory site for me:
And this one is one I found and sent back for him(them) to view. I see that it was filmed and put up by a woman I see on here posting as a fan of Davy too. Great statement about Warren from Joe here:

R.L. BURNSIDE: With most of his family: Near the end of R.L. life doin` the song he wrote about his wife, with his grandson, Cedric, on drums and Kenny Brown on guitar. Kenny was taken in by R.L. like a son: The song Cedric wrote in honor of R.L. after his passing which he took very hard: The movie Black Snake Moan was made in honor of R.L. and had Kenny and Cedric in it along with Samuel Jackson who Cedric told me really learned to play the guitar for it. Cedric, Kenny and Luther and Cody Dickinson did alot of the music for the movie. This scene is to depict the juke joint that Jr. Kimbrough had that everyone frequented. R.L. would also have house parties that they`d put all the furnature outside for more room to boogie inside: That`s the end of my blues history post................
