Any genre of music you can find in Anders Osbourne arsenal. His selection of music will cover your any mood and the best thing about his music is his lyrics. He is an amazing singer songwriter. Writes for many in Nashville. His Coming Home CD is soothing smooth listening genius, His American Patchwork is plain fricking fantastic, Black Eyed Galaxy is down right heavy rock and roll metally at times. You can find NOLA jazzy and goes way back to foot stompling hand clapping folksy to Jazz in other CD's. If you have not caught any of his shows, put it on your bucket list!!

I got to catch him a few years ago at Floyd Fandango in Virginia when they used to host a wine and beer festival on July 4th weekend. He put on a great show and have bought several of his cd's you've mentioned since. He's truly amazing live though!!!

ANDERS OSBORNE !!!!!!!! Yes ....this guy is awesome. I`ve got several of his CDs and have pledged for his new one being worked on: actually I ordered the vinyl........autographed with my name in the liner notes. It`s what us non-musicians do to help......donate and spread the word. www.pledgemusic.com/projects/andersosborneI have a few of his CDs signed. He is a great musician and a friendly and fun guy too ! My favorite of his CDs is: American Patchwork/2010 I especially love his live high energy rock oriented music, but like his acoustic stuff too. I would see Anders & Co. every chance I get ! His bass player reminds me of a young Lemmy and the drummer , a young Buddy Miles !

Anders just put up new dates that he`s doing with North Mississippi Allstars this spring.
I just bought 3rd row center seats(first 2 rows is hard on the neck when seated) to see Anders Osborne and the North Mississippi Allstars at Carnegie Music Hall in Munhall(Pittsburgh suburb) the beginning of March. This is the same place I first saw Davy with Gov`t Mule.
This should be a great colaboration between Anders and the brothers Dickinson !
CAN~T WAIT !

Well if you didn`t listen or download........TOO LATE NOW. They did not allow taping last night for our 2 hour and 55 minute show and made the one taper tear down even though he presented the band with a stack of stuff he`s recorded of them both audio and video............... They told me they would be taking down anything already posted that included ANY Anders related music. NMA is still cool with their stuff being recorded and shared with a few exceptions noted on internet archives. I told them that I had downloaded and burnt copies of the Ardmore and Boston shows in entirety and they laughed and said: You`re lucky you saw it before we did and that was that. Came home with a few autographed copies of their new NMO release on limited numbered CDs This will give you a feel for the Anders Osborne Band. Here`s two of Anders` songs they did last night. Although these videos were from a previos night. The video police were on the prowl last night. I did get 98 pictures though.....First video has Ligtnin` Malcome of NMA on board: WE LOVE CARL~S BASS PLAYING ! Then we drove the 140 miles home in pouring rain until it turned into flooding and ponding when we got north enough to get back to feet of already existing snow that would not let the water drain. Still flood watches today and most things are closed down. If not for the height and 4WD of my truck we`d still be swamped in the middle of the road 50 to 60 miles from here. We sat with a few guys my age who were at the same venue when Davy and Back Door Slam opened for MULE. They all love Davy and his music and wish he`d get his a$$ back to Pittsburgh. They were disappointed that Sellersville seemed to be their closest option. They, like my son and I were impressed with our first experience of him and are also in the picture that Davy posted taken from the back of the stage towards the audience. ......which I can`t find antwhere. It used to be on one of Davy`s sites that I don`t think any longer exists for public viewing. DAVY........do you have it and can post it ? I DID find this one great shot of Davy from that night though Pictures later when dowloaded, viewed and processed ! Except for this one that I just took with another camera. and one already in my folder of the Carnegie Music Hall and Library of Homestead(Munhall) Pa. I`ll start a NMO topic later.......my butt`s draggin`............

I got my downloads yesterday from Pledge Music for the new Anders Osborne album due to be released this fall. It is 18 songs on 2 CDs. I had ordered it on Vinyl(autographed) but I don`t see that being offered anymore. I hope I get mine ! It`s gonna take 3 vinyls to hold all the music. I`ve listened to the first CD, so far, and really like it. There is still time to get in on the pledge deal.....if interested: www.pledgemusic.com/projects/andersosborne. I will be seeing Anders again in late August. I THINK his band, this time, will look something like this:

OOPS..........I seem to have got things a little @$$ backwards in my previous post........
I missed this completely:
To show our gratitude, we are giving away a free live Anders Osborne “Almost Acoustic Band” performance from Terrapin Crossroads last August 22nd, 2014!
So what I`ve been listening to IS NOT the album to be released as Spacedust and Ocean Views.........
It IS very good though.
This is from 2 days later with basically the same lineup as the CDs I downloaded, but here they are doin` Dead/Phil Lesh instead of Anders Osborne stuff:

Had an AWESOME Anders Osborne Band gig last night ! First time of hearing this present lineup, and was very impressed with this configuration, even though I LOVED his 3 piece lineups of Anders, Carl and Eric Bolivar and Anders, Carl and Brady Blades. This time it was Anders Osborne on guitars and vocals, Carl Dufrene on bass and vocals, Eric McFadden on guitar and vocals and Chad Cromwell on drums. It was the first time I ever heard Eric or Chad live. Chad is a legendary drummer and Eric is quite talented. They didn`t allow filming, but here is a video from youtube to show the talents of this lineup: That was one of the songs they did for us last night. They did a couple from the upcoming new release, that they are doing through pledge music. After the show I talked with Eric and he was quite friendly and I told him I was checking him out these past weeks and will soon buy some of his own CD releases.....I was very much impressed with the man and his abilities as a player ! Then I spent about 10 minutes talking with Carl and having him sign 3 CD covers which Anders has already signed. He was gracious to several fans.........and carried items backstage for Anders and Chad to sign for other concert goers. Can`t wait to see Anders and Co. again, the next round. Carl is a very solid player, a great improvisionalist and a great stage presence ta boot ! AND a very friendly man !!! Attachments:
